Crack System
The Megahold crack system is a fully adjustable climbing feature made of 2 independent components to give maximum range and versatility; from thin fingers to off-width. The basic crack is over 5 feet in length and it can easily be combined with other features or doubled-up to create cracks as long, sustained, wide, flaring, or friendly as you want. An extra skin-friendly texture makes this crack a pleasure to jam. Overlap the Crack sections to create as long and continuous a feature as you want, or combine it with a Tufa feature to build your own corner crack. The Tufa is comprised of 3 unique components that can be used individually, together, or in any number of configurations. The Tufa is equally at home on vertical walls and steep terrain. The possibilities with this formation are endless. Each segment of the Tufa can be mounted with 2 end-caps to allow it to be used individually with no loss of aesthetics. Each section is 4ft in length and 36inches in width and ranges between 9 and 20 inches in depth. With end-caps attached each section is 5’4” long. The Mini-Megas are another innovation from Megahold in keeping with our philosophy of increasing flexibility and versatility of climbing walls. These rock-like, movable, wall featrues give flat walls an added 3-dimensional element. The Mini-Megas attach to any wall simply using 2 existing t-nuts and wok well at any angle from slabs to radically overhanging walls. Use Mini-Megas on their own or as thematic "connectors" with larger megaholds to link discontinuous features both visually and with climbing movement. Themes A series of megaholds and mini-megas space out across a wall area can radically change a huge section of climbing terrain... and be reconfigured to change again whenever you want. All formations come in our vibrant trademark colours - bright red, yellow and blue over a stone-like multitone grey. Keep your clientele on their toes and waiting for the next new route! |
